Session I: The WGLI Core Leadership Program (5 Day Series) (February 23, March 9 & 23, April 6 & 20, 2013)

The WGLI (Women’s Global Leadership Initiative) Leadership Series is five one-day sessions that help women develop their leadership abilities in their careers and their community. Our carefully developed program enables women to clarify their personal and professional purpose and vision.

Each participant is provided with the tools needed for their own unique vision of success. In addition to identifying personal values and convictions, participants acquire the leadership skills, mentorship, and community project guidance necessary to affect positive change.

5 Saturdays: February 23, March 9 & 23, April 6 & 20 at
Empire College (3035 Cleveland Ave. Santa Rosa, CA)

The workshop will help you recognize your core values and leadership style. Each participant is provided with the tools needed for their own unique vision of success.

WGLI and SRJC present the First Sonoma Annual Women’s Wellness Lecture

Free and open to the Public

Lecture to address areas of interest expressed by community members: including Women’s Wellnesss, Body Image, Self-esteem, forgiveness and compassion, and becoming financial literate

Speakers include:

Carrie Peterson, MSW (Youth Employment Case Manager ) will address how body dissatisfaction impacts the quality of life, how relates to self- esteem and what it takes to become self-reliant and independent

Loraine Segal, MA (Conflict Remedy, Forgiveness and self-compassion,
The Benefit of forgiving others, and ourselves.

Kate Levinson,Ph.D, author of Emotional Currency: A Woman’s Guide to Building a Healthy Relationship with Money.
