Dr. Lea has a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction with more than twenty years teaching experience. A an advocate for literacy, she has worked extensively in adult education and vocational training programs. She is also a CTI Certified Professional Coach and a graduate of the Leadership Program that is affiliated with The Coaches Training Institute. Dr Lea has facilitated numerous workshops in the US, UK and East Africa to help groups learn new ways to listen and interact with one another.

Organization Development

Ms. Mahoney has thirty years of management and consulting in human resources, organizational development, and administration for firms in several industries. For eleven years she was a national seminar leader, helping design and personally delivering over 800 public seminars on business leadership and human resources topics. She holds a Bachelor’s degree, earned a Senior Professional in Human Resources through the Society of Human Resources Management, and is currently working on her Masters Degree in In-Depth Psychology at Sonoma State University. www.stepwellcoaching.com

Community Organizer 

Zuli Baron is a community organizer who brings over 20 years of community development experience to WGLI. Her community project, change representing the latino community, was recognized as a program for creating, “...communities empowered by authentic leadership, responsive and responsible government, and strong social and institutional networks; able to meet their self-identified needs and goals." In her own words, Zuli is committed to, "...building grassroots capacity for social change and quality of life improvements, in local and international communities.”
